Welcome, traveler, to my humble lodgings. My name is Ana Ventura (or Anathema), a writer and aspiring author. I'm currently working on The Golden Rose , a low-fantasy medieval interactive fiction set in a Europe that is not quite like our own. The series is planned to be four books long, of which Book One has been released! Book One: Steam | Google Play | Choice of Games | Apple Store I'm now working on Book Two! The Rose is a complex, character-focused story where I truly want your choices to matter. Book One is 1.2 million words long, and as I work on Book Two, I know it will be even bigger. The amount of variation based on past choices is what makes these games worth playing; it's what makes fiction interactive — and, thus, what made me fall in love with the medium in the first place. By supporting this Patreon, you'd help me make this story as deep and expansive as I always dreamed it to be. The road may be long, and the horizon always tantalizing, but one must never forget to stop and smell the roses.
