INTRODUCTION Hello there, I'm ArchitectOfDystopia, and this is the Dystopian Project! We primarily create adult-themed games and artwork, usually with dark fantasy and dystopian elements - although from time to time, we do also dabble in more light-hearted content like webcomics! Our work frequently covers sinister and often debauched settings, ranging from fallen kingdoms ravaged by monsters and famine, to post-apocalyptic modern cities plagued by mutated horrors and crippled by the tyranny of corrupt authorities. If these sound like things you'd be into, then read on, and learn more about us and our work! ―――――――――――――――――― OUR GAMES When we first started the Dystopian Project, there was a scarcity of proper English-language adult games out there. Most of them were little more than slideshows, with little in the way of gameplay or story. The Dystopian Project began as an attempt to create the sort of adult games we ourselves would want to play! And thanks to the ongoing support of our patrons and players, we've been able to make that happen! Our first fully-finished title, Overgrown: Genesis , was completed on May 2020, and is now available to all patrons and published on Steam! And our next title is well underway! In our games, we try our best to combine compelling stories with gorgeous artwork, backed by gameplay elements designed to complement the dark and kinky content, rather than detract from it or even punish players for looking for it, as many other adult games seem to do. We also pride ourselves in going the extra mile to really make the adult games we work on stand out as actual games, rather than glorified hentai galleries. To do that, we make use of unique assets in areas like our overworlds and item inventories that are all drawn from scratch, and use customized user interfaces specifically tailored to suit our unorthodox gameplay styles. We also put painstaking effort into characters design, worldbuilding, and even on original music and sound effects! Additionally, we try to make use of uniquely challenging and interesting settings, as well as characters, with which we feel will create the best adult gameplay experience! For instance, in our first completed game, Overgrown: Genesis , you play as the spunky survivor of a post-apocalyptic world overrun by lust-crazed mutants and monsters. You could potentially be armed to the teeth, and be ready to go in guns blazing...! ... However, you will soon find it's much easier to conserve your limited supplies and weaponry, and rather than slugging your way past everything, you could smartly sneak your way through... or even slut your way through the worst of your enemies. In our next title, you play as a refugee in a dark fantasy world fleeing an invasion, but atypically for such a setting, you play a peasant girl with zero combat ability, a far cry from the usual 'hero in shining armour' protagonist for such a setting. As a result, you must rely solely on wits, intuition, stealth, and other non-combative, unorthodox traits and methods in order to survive in an unforgiving new world plagued by all manner of threats, where evil might lurk around every corner... In our games, we like to feature well-rounded female heroines who, when confronted with obstacles, are given a multitude of options and approaches. They could kick ass, sneak past, or just succumb to the depravity that surrounds them... Or even turn the tables and seduce the powers-that-be. ... And, depending on how you, the player, have built up their personality over the course of their journey, you might find they enjoy the indignity - or even relish in the suffering they can cause...! Their choices are many, and their decisions - and ultimate fate - is in the hands of you, the player. Will you have the heroine make a noble last stand, take the easy way out and give in to oppression... Or become even more cruel and terrible than her worst opponents, and turn into the villainess herself...? If all this has got
