I’m a 29-year-old Spanish nonbinary? trans man? Game Director, Voice Director, Art Director, 2D artist and Writer for a wealth of indie companies! Before that, I used to work as a freelance colorist for clients such as Blizzard and DC Comics, but I had to quit my job after a bad wrist injury that failed to heal properly in 2017. In my free time in between hats, I've been developing The Hayseed Knight all on my own for the last seven years! The Hayseed Knight is a fully voice acted and animated indie visual novel where you'll join a ragtag band of misfits as they piece together how Ader, a one-eyed farmboy with seemingly impossible dreams, becomes the most celebrated knight the kingdom of Acazhor has ever known. Development for the visual novel officially started in May 2017. As of 29th February 2024, all five chapters have been released for a 20 hours long experience! Closer to a cartoon than a usual visual novel, every scene in The Hayseed Knight is lovingly animated to truly bring the characters and world to life. Even after all these years, I'm still in love with this project! I devote every second I have to it, as I'm THK's writer, artist, voice director, programmer, audio engineer, Spanish translator— Most everything . I handle everything I can on my own! That lets me work on such a high profile project quite frugally... but I still need A Lot of Money to make this game because I want to pay my voice actors and occasional musicians fairly. But this same pocket that believes in paying everyone else is the one that pays for rent and food and healthcare expenses every month. Every dollar you can afford to share helps keep THK moving along, since I'm often caught between jobs due to my poor health. I still dream of making THK much bigger yet than it is, nonetheless!
