Hi, I'm Nickle3DArt and I'm creating an adult visual novel called 'Jury'. About me: I'm from the United Kingdom, have 6 years experience in feature film visual effects on blockbuster titles, a BSc Hons Degree in Computing, and before I started Jury, I had been previously working freelance as a DAZ artist on one of the larger AVN titles on the market (contributing almost 2000 images towards that). I currently work on Jury in my evenings and weekends, but work full time Monday-Friday in a standard job (I have to pay the bills somehow!). What's my plan: Having worked on a very large AVN for 9 months, seeing the problems they encountered, what pleased and displeased the community, I believe I have what it takes to produce a fantastic AVN to engage and entertain a fanbase. What is my inspiration: I was inspired to create a good looking AVN due to playing Being a DIK, Halfway House and College Kings. A combination of these games is what I would call the perfect AVN. With my love AVN's I wanted to create something a bit different from the usual. It was watching the TV show 'Your Honor' that gave me the initial idea for Jury. I initially started Jury as a hobby project (something creative to do in my spare time). However knowing how some AVN's can occasionally and unexpectedly do very well, I did make sure to actually plan an entire underlying plot before I even started rendering the first scene. If Jury was to take off, then I'd need more than just an idea of where the first episode started and finished, right? What stage is the game at today? I released Episode 1 in April 2023 on the Steam Marketplace for a fairly low fee (in my opinion). I've been quite overwhelmed at the positivity it's been received with by the community, which has made me extremely glad that I have planned out the underlying plot for rest of the game! I don't think the concept of a sequestered Jury has been done before, and I think it provides a break from the 'High School story' (which has been done so well by at least 2 developers) and the 'I lost my memories' plot (which I can't remember how many of those I've seen... Get it?). Almost a year later, I completed Episode 2 and released that onto Steam. I'm really pleased with the Episode in general, the part I'm not as pleased about is how long it took me to get finished and published. Certainly room for Improvement there! Future Plans: Jury is planned to span over 4-5 Episodes. If It NEEDS an additional Episode to finish it off, then so be it. I don't want to have just an ending screen. I want the end to be something quite special and rewarding, so you almost play through the ending (depending on which one you arrive at). The ambition is to have an ending with each love interest - Not just a single lewd scene, but endings which show months into the future - how your relationship panned out with that character after the trial ended. That's the initial idea anyway. Ultimate Ambition: I would be the happiest guy in the world, if I could do this full time. It's what I think about when I wake up, and it's what I'm still thinking about when I go to sleep. I've had multiple times where I take a week off from my day job just to work on Jury, and have that thought of 'Wow... This is what everyday life could actually be like if I can continue to deliver good content...' That's my ultimate ambition! Why support me?
