SmutMods SmutMods Early Development Transparency Plan A Sandbox Platform for Adult Experiences SmutMods is an adult sandbox built around a simple idea. People want to have sexual experiences with the existing characters they actually like. Whether they're from games, movies, anime, VRChat, commissions, Patreon creators, Gumroad artists, or completely original creations, everyone has characters they'd love to interact with (LEWD). The problem is that traditional adult games can only include content their developers own or have licensed. The character you actually want usually isn't there. Have a few favorite characters from your favorite teamshooter hero game? Normally you would never be able to see and lewd them in VR. SmutMods is designed to make it not just possible, but easy. Built for Modding Mods aren't an extra feature. They're the entire point. Everything in the game is a mod, even the official built in content. Characters, environments, toys, poses, and future systems are all designed to work together in a single ecosystem. The goal is to make creating and sharing content as straightforward as possible, allowing the community to expand the platform far beyond what I could ever build alone. A huge part of the project is making content creation approachable. Alongside the game, I'm building a Unity ModKit, Blender Companion tools, documentation, tutorials, and workflows that make bringing new content into the platform as painless as possible. The easier it is to create content, the stronger the entire ecosystem becomes. The Modkit (SmutLabs) makes it easy to take a blender rig, fbx, or unity character and start making character mods! Mods are drag and drop. Want a modpack? Put all the mods in a folder. Want to share a mod with a friend? Zip the folder and share it! Virtual Reality First Virtual reality is the primary focus because nothing else offers the same level of presence. PCVR is the flagship experience, while Quest Standalone support is built into the project from the beginning . Desktop support also exists and will continue improving, but VR naturally receives the highest priority while the platform's foundations are being built.
