Play Things is a choice-based text adventure about two college students who start receiving mysterious daily packages from someone called "DOCTOR SHINE." They find their relationships and bodies change substantially as a result. This game is an extremely smutty transformation-themed text adventure and is not at all appropriate for minors. The game takes place over seven days, and every day, you must take and use one of two toys delivered to you by Doctor Shine and then deal with the resulting changes to your body and relationships. The other options are 'decorative,' meaning they change individual scenes, some character interactions, and the description and visuals of the protagonist, but they don't create completely unique paths through the narrative. There will be four primary paths and eight endings. The game is about 130k words long, with the estimated final length around twice that much. What's this about a 3D version? I really want to make a version of this game with a model of the player character in the bottom left corner. The character model will reflect the character's physical changes and have different outfits and hairstyles. I would also love it if she could emote and react to things that happen in the story. Assuming this goes well, I would love to model the other characters in the story, most notably Riley, the PC's roommate, who is also undergoing changes alongside you. That would be extremely cool! I have worked extensively in 3D video games as a professional animator and technical artist, and I'm confident I can make this happen - but doing so will be a lot of work.
