Hi, I'm Briar, and if you're reading this, you're probably already aware that I'm a writer, primarily of difficult to categorize genre fiction or quasi- genre fiction in the SFF and horror space. Sometimes I write more literary fiction, as well as poetry and creative nonfiction. (I've tried, but I'm a fairly uninspired writer of criticism and of more conventional essays!) To date I've had four books published by small presses, which are: The Witch Garden (much cheaper digital version available here ) The False Sister Traveler's Tales Corrupted Vessels (also available here as an ebook) I also have an itch.io where you can buy or download my considerably more voluminous body of self-published work, including Body After Body , a novel that's equal parts graphic t4t erotica, grotesque surreal horror, and anime-influenced soft sci-fi biopunk dystopia. My website is here -- I had fun making it! It's a little janky and basic because my coding is strictly at the 1998 HTML/CSS fansite level. Right now, this Patreon offers one thing and one thing only: for a small (or large!) monthly sum, you are guaranteed one never before published short story, or short story length section of a longer serialized work, per month. I will sporadically post other surprises, such as drawings, photography, collage art, poetry, and flash fiction.
