A Last Effort, is an episodic game in a post apocalyptic setting created with RPGMaker MV which ultimately seeks to close the gap between a serious in-depth story of survival and unfiltered content such as explicit language and adult themes. Edit - rework A story revision and graphical overhaul was in order to hopefully gain more support this time around as time for me as well as everyone else is limited and bound to financial compensation...that said... Motivation: A.L.E was and still is a hobby of mine, a adult game I personally looked for in vain. What I create differs in many aspects from what I've seen or played myself over the years. Telling a story while exploring how far my own creativity can evolve in the process is what started and still fuels this project. Patreon: Episode one consists of 10 parts each part being roughly as long as the prelude ( around 2 hours ) you directly support the creation of episode 2 as I am almost done with Episode 1 which therefore will receive guaranteed monthly updates at least till October 2025 In-game features first and foremost overhauled graphics which evolve from part to part... a new story and approach for returning players custom tiles custom sprites custom font custom menu sprite interactions throughout animations ( 100+ by the end of Episode 1 ) no 3D models but self-made art by now over 70 unique characters Game approach Episode 1 is a linear story centered approach with no gain if you opt out via decision...best choices will be provided via spoilers... every action is depicted via sprite and or picture realistic social dynamics and progression no grinding/repeating/endless walking around interaction is key - talk to everyone always - save often no content that will go against Patreon guidelines will ever be provided Every episode of A.L.E will be free of charge once complete.
